- Description: This evergreen perennial is native to tropical West Africa and Nigeria. Snake plants have strong, sturdy, sword shaped leaves that retain water, making drought tolerant. These plants make a great addition to any office or household as natural air purifiers. Snake plants can easily be propagated by leaf cuttings so you can multiply your family of plants or give them away as a gift!
- Care: This particular Snake plant can be easily manipulated and you’ll often see them braided or twisted together. As it grows, you will have to braid the leaves to maintain the current shape. Not much is required to keep a healthy Snake plant! It does well in nearly all light conditions. Although poor light can stunt its growth, it will survive, and watering is only necessary once or twice a month. There’s no need to take this plant friend home from the office come time for your vacation. It’ll be just fine when you return!
