Honestly, plants are in my roots. My great-great great grandfather was a botanist. I've been told that he just had this way of identifying the plants that would make the perfect remedy to cure whatever ailed; he was our family’s doctor.

As I worked from home as a project manager during quarantine, I discovered my own love for plants and the sense of community that was possible with them.

Pilea Plants & Things launched in the spring of 2022 and is rooted in Parrish, Florida.
