Botanical Name: Fittonia albivenis

Common Names: Nerve Plant

Description: The Fittionia is a spreading evergreen perennial with delicately veined, deep-green leaves. Although the most popular vein color is silvery-white, you can also readily find varieties with veins in red, pink, white, and green. Small buds may appear after a time where the stem splits into leaves. Flowers are small with a white to off-white color.

Care: These can be dramatic! Bottom-watering is a great way to make sure your nerve plant stays hydrated. You may come home to it completely drooped over, but don’t worry, this Oscar worthy plant isn’t dead! It’s just letting you know that it’s time for a drink. Place it in bright-indirect to medium light, but not in direct sunlight. It’s also pet friendly!
