The Roots
Plants have always been a part of my story. My great-great-great grandfather was my family's "botanist", known for finding the perfect plant remedies to heal and nurture. My grandmother is very similar with her ability to identify and grow just about anything.
That legacy sparked my own passion during quarantine, when I discovered how much joy and connection plants could bring into my life. In 2022, that passion grew into Pilea Plants & Things, a mobile plant shop rooted in Parrish, Florida.

This chapter is about growing as individuals, as partners, as a family, and as business owners. Just like the plants we love, we believe growth takes care, patience, and community. At the heart of it all is a commitment to living intentionally, choosing what we nurture, how we spend our time, and the life we’re creating together.

Meet Polly
This chapter wouldn’t be complete without Polly, Florida’s first Mobile Plant Bar™. Since winter 2022, Polly has been rolling through Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas, and Sarasota counties—bringing greenery, conversations, and connection to pop-ups, events, and plant lovers all around.
