- Common Names: ZZ plant, Dowon, Black Raven
- Description: Time is what makes the black ZZ plant turn dark. Fresh leaves start out bright green and gradually turn black with time. Though similar, it is not to be mistaken for the famous lighter colored ZZ that tends to be more common.
- Care: This plant will survive in low light conditions but can stunt growth overtime. That’s why it is suitable for use in the office or even in poorly lit rooms such as bathrooms. However, for it to thrive and grow, place it in a very well-lit area while avoiding direct sunlight. This plant is drought-resistant, so the less water the better with this one. Let the soil completely dry before watering to prevent leaf discoloration and root damage.
